Our Out of School Care classroom is an extension of our Tot Spot Academy Program Daycare Curriculum. Friends that graduate from our Preschool Program are welcome to join us in the Out of School Care program. Out of School care is a great place to connect with friends in the morning for some free play and then head off to school. Kindergarten aged children are picked up at lunch and come back for a nutritious meal prepared by our chef. Following lunch the children participate in a short quiet time to help promote emotional regulation for the afternoon. Much like Preschool Program the Out of School Care children engage in periods of structured and unstructured activities until pickup time.

Our full day school children arrive back at Tot Spot Academy in time for a chef prepared afternoon snack and then engage in interest driven, open ended stations and activities until pickup.

Age: 5 – 12 years

Enriched learning environment

Our classroom is divided into evolving stations such as “Fine art, Dramatic play, Cognitive challenges”

Engaging emergent curriculum

Parents are provided with an emergent program plan. The programming is based on the interests, skills and abilities within the classroom.

Vehicle Safety

Van is equipped with 5 point harness car seats or appropriate booster seats. We are serious about safe transportation.

Technology free

We want parents to decide how much technology their child is exposed to. Our out of school care program is completely tech free for our students.
